I’ve spent the majority of my career working in the substance abuse and mental health treatment field. I’m passionate about helping people explore their substance use, its effect on their mental health, how it may be impacting other areas such as relationships or jobs, and setting realistic goals moving towards a more peaceful, fulfilling life.
Many clients need support working through everyday stressors. Other areas that I guide people through frequently are anxiety and depression, relationship issues, grief and loss, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, family conflict, and life transitions. I rely on evidence based practices (including CBT) combined with some personal cheerleading and humor.
