About
I believe that wonderful things can happen when we feel safe, validated, and connected to those around us. My goal is to provide that environment for every client that I work with. I aim to work alongside my clients to help them better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as how they can begin to live a life that they find fulfilling. My passion is helping clients feel empowered, especially during those times when life feels really hard.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which helps individuals learn coping skills that can be incorporated into their daily lives to help them reduce high levels of emotion; reduce impulsive decisions and actions; improve relationships; and be more mindful of the present moment.
I understand that beginning therapy can often feel overwhelming. I will work with my clients to ensure that their treatment plan is individually tailored to meet their goals. I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and begin helping you achieve your life worth living!
