Seeking therapy takes courage; people often feel vulnerable when reaching out for help. We offer a non-judgmental space to explore, process and modify distressing emotions, thoughts, memories and unhelpful behaviors. We are two legged and four legged practitioners who focus treating PTSD, traumatic stress, anxiety, ADHD, substance use (behavioral addictions), transitional difficulties, and non-traditional relationship navigation.
My training and education emphasized an evidenced based approach. This is something that I value and embrace in my work with others. My experience has led me to support this approach through the use of CBT, EMDR, and IFS to help individuals create a tailored treatment approach.
I believe that the outcomes of therapy are deeply influenced by the collaborative effort between us and commitment shown both inside and outside the therapy room.
