After receiving her master’s degree with distinction in clinical mental health counseling, Heather’s journey as an individual/group therapist began specializing in ACT and TF-CBT with diverse youth. As an Arizona native, she spent her childhood as a singer, dancer, and actor. Her life experiences have exposed her to a wide variety of individuals from all walks of life who have shared their wisdom, supporting her in her transition from performer to therapist.
Heather serves her community as supervisor for mental health programs & developer of human trafficking awareness & recovery programs within residential & outpatient settings.
Her approach draws from DBT, EMDR, and IFS through an integrative, person-centered, attachment-based, and trauma-informed practice. Her clinical work includes coping skills development, attachment and communication improvements, and behavioral modification. For Heather, there has never been a more meaningful and valued role than that of a healing helper.
Heather became a therapist to contribute to the enlightenment of humankind. She believes in providing a transcendent experience for all, thereby tailoring therapy to each individual's unique needs.
