In order to provide a safe environment for clients to open up and share their most personal thoughts and feelings, I begin with a compassionate approach. This means I put myself in the client's shoes and work at their pace allowing them to experience complete healing that is personalized to them. I use evidence-based practice to ensure ethical practice allowing clients to begin to experience relief in the shortest amount of time. Client's create personalized treatment goals and intentionally work toward achieving objectives to resolve their issues in a way that is most effective for them.
I work well with adults from age 20 through the golden years and end-of-life. I treat a range of problems including trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. I also specialize in workplace stress and learning effective communication strategies.
