As a clinical social worker I have experience working with clients experiencing life transitions, substance use issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, trauma, anger, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ issues. No matter what you want to work on, I believe in working together to find the path forward, beginning with looking at your strengths and resources. Through conversation, some activities and skills-building, we can help you change unproductive behavior patterns, and habits of thinking that keep you stuck.
My approach is person-centered, solution-focused, strengths-based and trauma-informed. I'm here to support you where you are now while helping you figure out specific actions you can take to move forward or function and feel better. We’ll engage in a process that will help you become empowered to make the changes that feel right to you, and inspire healing.
My own life experience allows me to understand being unhappy with where and who you are in this moment and how difficult it is to let go of parts of your Self and your past so that you can transition into the person you want to be. My goal in working with clients is that you feel heard, affirmed, and safe during your process of growth, change, and healing.
