I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults to resolve challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, and school/work adjustment. Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with chronically ill children on an inpatient unit, as well as in a preschool setting, tutoring children, and leading small community-based child development classes. I’ve also run parenting support groups and supported new mothers during the postpartum period. I believe in creating a playful, collaborative, and empathic environment where you feel safe.
My approach is integrative and holistic, combining aspects of play therapy, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), strength-based strategies, and psychodynamic theories. I aim to help you and your child understand and change unproductive thoughts and behaviors in a way that is both compassionate and effective.
I take a collaborative approach, considering the bio-psychosocial and spiritual model to gain a better understanding of the challenges you or your child may be facing. I also value involving caregivers in treatment to ensure that children receive the support they need at home. By working together, we can overcome struggles and promote growth and resilience.
