At times that means I might direct and re-direct you away from the story, away from the chatter and the thoughts and into your body, connecting with your nervous system, with your sensations, with your authentic self.
Somatic therapy engages both the mind & the body. Turning attention towards present moment experiences within the body, the brain, and nervous system supports regulation of emotion and modification of behavioral patterns.
