At Heartafire, we realize that taking the first step to reach out for help can be a daunting one. If you find yourself struggling to manage life's challenges, the past keeps intruding into the present, or you feel yourself trying to manage your symptoms, but it isn't working - therapy can help! Together, we will collaborate on a plan to incorporate a variety of therapy modalities using evidence + strength-based approaches in order to individually meet your needs.

We are a trauma clinic specializing in all types of abuse/trauma treatment, crime victims, and treatment of first responders. Trauma can also include single incidents such as car accidents and grief/loss.

We offer both in person and virtual sessions and have a wide variety of pay ranges beginning with $60 for student interns and accept most insurances. We do not take OHP.

Shame Resiliency - Based on Brene Brown's Research

BEGINS 9/15 (Virtual via Google Meet) This 12 week psychoeducation and process group is based on Brene Brown's Shame-Resilience Theory (SRT) which helps individuals recognize and understand shame and develop shame resilience. In turn, this process allows one to move toward authenticity, love and belonging, and a resilient spirit. Our group will be a closed group in order to facilitate safety and connection among group members. Text book required I Thought it was Just Me (but it isn't): Telling the Truth About Perfectionism, Inadequacy, and Power. Group members must be able to complete weekly required reading and homework assignments.
