Rhea works well with client issues that exhibit symptoms-such as depressed and anxious symptoms, traumatic past history, marital conflict or communication issues, parenting power-struggles, healing and educating on domestic abuse, and overall identity and purpose in one's personal walk. The need to internally search and find coping strategies, joy in life, and individual wholeness. Goals will be person-centered, measurable, and challenging for personal growth. She can relate to many client issues and needs based on own personal life experiences and healing journey. It takes courage and vulnerability to step into counseling.

My hope is to have clients who will be honest with me and let me help them where they are in their life path. Clients should try to be willing to challenge themselves and to trust the therapeutic process. The goal is to keep working on positive growth and not expect perfection. Finding connection without judgement can be transformative! I have partnered with clients from many different backgrounds and treat everyone with respect, dignity, and integrity. I value relationships. I have been told my greatest strengths include honesty, asking great questions, being straight forward, a good listener/ problem solver, and providing hope.

Hi! I am a counseling intern working on finishing my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Cornerstone University. Previously, at Kuyper College, I received a Master’s degree in ministry and a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in ministry, biblical Greek, and math/science. It is my goal to step beside you and be a firm foundation as we navigate life’s challenges. Whether you are working through the death of a loved one, traumatic events, navigating what is next for you academically or professionally, or are not even sure why life is feeling so difficult. I hope to hear from you!

What could emerge if you had one hour each week dedicated to you? I am passionate about creating a space where you can slow down, reflect and build what feels supportive. Adolescents, emerging adults and adults work with me in understanding and processing stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment, bicultural experiences & identity. Together, we'll explore not just what's happening, but why it makes sense, helping you build insight while developing practical tools for everyday life. My hope is that our time spent together helps you reduce overwhelm, build clarity, and reconnect with yourself.

I’m passionate about helping people create meaningful, positive changes in their lives. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and goal-oriented, because I believe the best progress happens when you feel supported and understood. I have experience in working with adolescents and adults in inpatient crisis settings, individuals on the autism spectrum, and those with cognitive challenges, focusing on practical strategies for prosocial living. I also specialize in supporting people with criminal backgrounds, as well as those seeking help with anger and aggression management or substance use recovery.

I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma related experiences, and challenges within relationships, as well as those experiencing substance use and co occurring mental health concerns. Some people come in with a clear understanding of what they’re struggling with, while others just know something feels off. Therapy does not require having everything figured out, and part of the process can simply be making sense of what you are feeling and why.
