My sessions are forward focused in which the treatment plan is focused on areas of growth. With that said every treatment plan created is personalized for the individual based on their needs, wants and symptoms, but is catered to female oriented issues. My treatment approach is based on over 10 years of providing testing and treatment services. In every case, my primary treatment goal is to help my clients develop the necessary skills--both thinking and behaving-- to improve their health, academic performance, day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being and self-efficacy. I do not fix my clients but focus all my efforts toward helping them to fix or better manage their problems themselves. This is done through fostering client strengths.

As an Individual, Couples and Family Therapist, I utilize evidence-based theories to assist in the journey of healing. Speciality training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)Therapy, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also a Family Mediator, Parent Coordinator and Parenting Facilitator assigned by the family courts in Texas.

I have experience working with a wide variety of life problems and mental health disorders, but my primary interests include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), academic issues, panic/phobias, anger management, addiction, couples, marriage, and family relationship issues.
