This is Dr. Patricia Jane Weiss, PhD. I am a Neuropsychologist, and I specialize in treating children , teens and adults. I do an assessment of cognitive and psychological tests. The point of the assessment (group of tests) is to determine if the client has any Learning Disorders that are blocking them from being able to use their full potential in both school and/or work. I specialize in children and teens who may need accommodations at school, and on Standardized testing or testing at school.I also work with adults who may need accommodations at work or who are involved in forensic situations.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychological testing with children and adolescents. I have been practicing in this area for over a decade and have trained with experts in child assessment. My evaluations assess the presence of attention challenges, learning struggles, and emotional difficulties. I conduct thorough, comprehensive assessments informed by the Therapeutic/Collaborative Assessment model. In this model, parents and children are team members in the process and we work together to answer the referral questions. At the completion of the process, adolescents receive a feedback letter explaining the testing findings in accessible language and children receive an individualized picture book.

Using a holistic, strength-based approach we will explore factors that may have gotten in the way of achieving your goals, such as life stressors, relationship difficulties, or insecurities. Together we will focus on addressing these obstacles in order to allow you to achieve your goals and thrive. I also offer psychological testing to investigate what obstacles may be present (i.e., ADHD, memory problems, personality characteristics, etc.) and provide recommendations on how to best overcome them.
