Rize-Up Together was started by three women of The Bronx who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities where confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Rize-Up Together began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I am a caring and compassionate listener. My style is open, relational and collaborative. It is important to me to provide an environment that is safe and non-judgemental, where a person can develop a sense of trust and well-being. I believe the most effective therapy centers on the connection between client and therapist. In collaborating together, we take a deeply personal journey, exploring possibilities and facing what has been difficult. My goal is to help my client heal and guide them toward increased self knowledge, emotional comfort and relationship satisfaction.

Depression, anxiety, feeling of intense anger, marital/relationship conflicts, family issues and stress affects many of us in our daily lives. I can help by providing a safe place to work on these problems without judgement and with the highest level of confidentiality. My goal is to guide clients through self-exploration, self-awareness and resilience building that transforms them into self-reliant individuals. I integrate psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), DBT, relational, and mindfulness-based techniques tailored to specific needs. I am a New York State licensed latino social worker with a graduate degree from Fordham University. As a psychotherapist i have over five years of experience working with documented/undocumented immigrant families, trauma, anxiety, substance abuse, Bipolar I &II, Schizophrenia, ODD and Depression with individuals with an age range of 3 to 83 years of age.
