I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing out-patient mental health services in Northern Virginia since 2007. I diagnose and treat a wide range of disorders in adolescents and adults. During therapy, I create an environment where people feel safe and comfortable while managing difficult situations. I assist them with developing ways to learn and recognize beneficial patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. therapy from the following perspectives to help individuals use their inherent strengths to improve their quality of life: CBT, Eye Movement Desensitization and Repossessing (EMDR). Renee Martin, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker/therapist that specializes in individual, family, and couple therapy. She works with clients to build coping strategies, to identify dysfunctional patterns in relationships within one's self and others, to build healthy relationships and to improve self esteem and confidence. Renee also helps clients manage mood disorders, anxiety, and stress.

I have found success in working with angry and defiant teenagers, substance abuse, marital dischord and rebuilding family relationships. .I've also enjoyed helping those who struggle with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders. I have received specific training in the integration of Christianity and psychology for individuals that desire to utilize their faith for restoration and healing. I believe that my background in science, business and motorsports allows me to connect to a wide variety of individuals.

How can I trust myself to choose a healthy romantic partner in the future?’ As a survivor of narcissistic abuse, I wrestled with those questions myself.
