I am a Licensed Professional Counselor having provided mental health services for the past 10 years as a dedicated therapist offering individual, group and family counseling to address issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, personality disorder, substance abuse, marriage/family, and many other cognitive and behavioral difficulties.

By examining how our unconscious mind and early childhood experiences have shaped our personality and perception of how we view the world around us, I empower my clients to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and confidence. To take ownership and accountability for their decisions and actions, and working towards identifying more appropriate actions, follow-through, and correct behavior necessary for them to finally move past the barriers that have continued to prevent them from reaching their upmost potential.

Unlike other programs, I understand that sometimes getting seen is urgent and you don't want to wait weeks. I attempt to get clients in within 24 hours. And I am like you; I hate waiting in the reception area to see the counselor, therefore I make every attempt to stay on schedule this is a priority to me so that I won't disrespect your time. I am currently work towards a PhD. in Addiction since I find helping those who struggle with substance use disorders important and fulfilling.

I wear a lot of hats in life- I'm a bonus mom, partner, daughter, friend, colleague, woman. I'm a human. I know what it's like to feel shame, anger, sadness, fear, and pain. I also know happiness, love, safety, gratitude, and hope. I've had a lot of experiences- some beautiful, some not. I share this because it's important to know that while I've not been in your shoes, I've walked in shoes of my own. I know that we are all just doing the best we can at the time.
