I have 25+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I use a creative, eclectic approach to help my clients gain a better understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and actions, help them through difficult periods, discover coping skills, and achieve a deeper satisfaction with their lives. I work with anxiety, anger, depression, bereavement, self-esteem and family issues. I am a licensed creative arts therapist, registered drama therapist, and certified counselor, and draw from CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic theories to inform my practice. In addition, I offer college counseling as an IEC.

Life situations can often burden us leaving us feeling overwhelmed and hopeless which can contribute to increased anxiety and disturbance in sleeping patterns. My specialty revolves around individual and family systems therapy which includes a unique approach to couples therapy (marriage counseling), life transitions, children, adolesecents and family of origin issues. Through my continuing post graduate training I have developed a behavioral, relational, and psychdynamic psychotheraputic approach to assist in allivating these patterns by enhancing communication styles, negotiating skills and problem solving techniques.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York with experience working with anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, family and relationship issues, identity, stress, and life transitions. My prior experience includes working with young adults within college counseling centers at NYU, Pratt Institute and Suffolk County Community College. As Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) for 25 years,I worked and supervised inpatient and outpatient. and taught the CASAC curriculum at Marymount and CCNY.
