I have been working in the mental health field since 2004. I began this journey working as a community mentor for children. Since that time, I have had many different roles. I have worked providing specialized services to children and families, been a lead clinician, and provided school based care before jumping into the private practice realm. My heart lies in helping people reach their full potential! Through working with diverse ages and client populations, I have learned that each person and system are unique.
I typically lean towards using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when working with people. However, I am quite eclectic and "borrow" techniques from other disciplines as well. The most important aspect in all of this is to help the individual and/or family find what will work for them.
I take appointments after school hours and will also schedule some weekend appointments.
