Jennifer licensed clinical social worker and certified Clinical Trauma Professional with 20+ years of experience in providing individual, family, and group counseling to children/ adolescents, adults and their families. Jennifer is passionate in regards to helping others overcome difficult life situations, traumatic experiences Jennifer specializes in treating trauma, mood disorders and personality disorders, insecure attachment, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and life stressors. Jennifer is experienced in working clients with high risk behaivors such as self-harmful behaviors, aggressive or defiant behaviors, suicidality.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, Jennifer provides a variety of creative interventions such as art, play, sand-tray, animals. Jennifer is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), trained in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Groups
Adolecent DBT group
Our DBT group meets on Tuesday's from 6pm- 7 pm. Join our fun, light-hearted group to learn emotion regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness techniques, distress tolerance skills, and mindfulness techniques. We engage our teens using a variety of creative activities. We embrace a fun, supportive environment with plenty of laughter, bonding, and team-work as we learn new skills and how to apply these new skills. This group is appropriate for those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, mood dysregulation, anger, PTSD, insecure attachment, poor sense of worth and self-esteem.
