I have thirteen years working in the field of domestic and sexual violence. This experience has given me a unique understanding of how oppression can undermine a person's sense of self-worth, value, and sense of belonging. I have learned the importance of walking side by side with clients.
I view mental health as a culmination of peoples experiences and their adaptation to those experiences. Survival strategies that once worked effectively may now be ineffective or damaging to ourselves and our relationships. Together we can figure out what's not working anymore for you and transform your life.
