The universe is too chaotic for us to be able to always avoid the things that make us uncomfortable AND achieve our long term goals. We will first work together to understand your emotional experience and what is blocking you. We will then identify patterns that aren't helpful, and work on behavior change that will lead to the creation of a life more congruent to your values and goals.
Current and past clients have shared with me that they appreciate my direct, laid back style. My experience in acute care and crisis response has helped me to learn how to quickly help my clients identify areas of opportunity for growth and how to best work towards change.
I have over a decade of experience treating individuals at several levels of care including intensive outpatient therapy, which gives me a unique ability to meet my clients where they are on their personal journey. Practically speaking, this means support not only in session, but also may include referrals to applicable community resources.
