I am Walfsty Pierre, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I specialize in trauma-informed care and have a deep understanding of how trauma affects individuals and families, particularly in marginalized communities, where systemic barriers can make the healing process more complex. My ideal clients are teens, families, and young adults who may come from backgrounds marked by trauma, mental health challenges, or family difficulties. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where healing can begin.
In my practice, I integrate attachment theory and Polyvagal theory to help clients navigate their recovery by fostering safety and rebuilding connections. I use trauma-sensitive, strength-based, and person-centered approaches, including Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness, to support clients through their healing journey.
