I believe that when struggling with concerns and issues like lack of finances, anxiety, depression, traumatic events, and strained relationships, the individual needs to have a supportive ear and a nonjudgmental point of view to process and explain their feelings. Being heard is an essential key in the therapeutic process. The therapeutic process is about improving on your strengths and strengthening your weaknesses. My goal is to make your life your reality by working with you to help improve your life.
My approach to the practice of psychotherapy integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and narrative-based approaches in the service of healing change. I have helped many clients work through difficult life transitions, relationship conflicts, and grief caused by various losses.
I have worked with various individuals, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, addiction, substance abuse, and communication challenges. All these individuals have one thing in common: they want to be heard and have a safe place to speak their truth. I find that it is an honor to be able to listen to and collaborate with clients on their sensitive issues.
