Head Up A New Direction In Healing provides a safe, non judgmental, and comfortable environment to begin the journey of healing from any past or current hardships. Head Up A New Direction In Healing provides individual therapy, guided imagery meditation workshops, wellness retreats and group therapy to help an individual overcome these hardships and begin to connect the outer and inner self. The mind, body and spirit is all connected and through these therapeutic avenues you are able to connect all three and feel the true self! Let’s start today!
When I guide and encourage a person's spirituality of the mind, body and soul, I am creating one with self through nature, meditation, yoga and any other self care actions. I believe laughter and passion, within a session, can encourage one to begin the journey of healing.
Everyone experiences trauma; it's how you cope with the trauma that can change a person for better or for worse. To better assist clients who are looking for therapy services, I have developed a group practice with very qualified second year master's level interns supervised by myself and two other licensed professionals. Voices Girls Empowerment Group
This support group educates adolescent girls and young women on self, connecting with others, healthy living, and the journey ahead. Today we are hearing more about girls and bullying, the pressures of social media, early puberty, gender exploration, human sex trafficking, and binge drinking. It encourages them to seek and celebrate their “true selves” by providing a safe space, encouragement, structure, and the support they need to embrace their journeys of self-discovery.
