In an ever-changing world, with so many hardships and challenges, I have dedicated my life to helping people make sense out of their struggles and find more peace. I believe in people and believe that in a safe and supportive environment, and with a skillful and responsible guide, people are capable of incredible accomplishments, leading to changes that enable more peace and joyful living. I believe that people develop maladaptive patterns of living and relating and that sometimes simple changes in habits, thinking, growing and understanding, can lead to happier and healthier lives and relationships.
I am an experienced psychologist from New York where I grew up and went to school. I have 30 years of experience working in mental health and years of training in trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, attachment, and more. I use a variety of techniques including trauma informed therapy, CBT, attachment, brain-based psycho-education and art therapy.
I consider myself privileged to bear witness to some of the most difficult, heartbreaking and joyful experiences of human existence. Some of us have been faced with so much hardship that it is difficult to live normal and productive lives. I offer guidance and understanding for people so they can move on and find more peace and happiness.
