Have you tried talk therapy but just feel like you're not getting anywhere? Art Therapy can help! Art Therapy helps you work around mental barriers and taps into your creative subconscious, opening new pathways to connect. You need no previous experience with art or therapy to benefit from art therapy. Caring for your mind is as important as feeding your physical body. If you are facing major life transitions (becoming a parent, changing careers, experiencing divorce, loss of a loved one or chronic illness) art therapy is a helpful tool for self-reflection, exploring difficult thoughts, and managing challenging emotions.
I am a Registered Art Therapist, with a Master's in Art Therapy from a Marital and Family Systems training. I am passionate about being an ally to my clients and believe each person ultimately has within themselves what they most need to transform. I utilize person centered, narrative and mindfulness based techniques in each session.
Whether you're returning to therapy or have never seen a therapist before, I'm here to welcome you unconditionally and learn about You and Your Story. Using creative expression (visual arts and writing) we will co-create your path forward, to support you in achieving your self-identified goals toward better health and well-being.
