Many of us feel lost, uncertain, or disconnected from our sense of self, as well as feel worn down or angry at the systems and expectations around us. Many of my clients are thoughtful, creative people who struggle with self-doubt and are searching for clarity, meaning, or permission to take up space. I have specialized experience working with disenfranchised communities, including survivors of domestic and sexual violence, individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, and those in the perinatal process. I am particularly interested in expanding my work with queer parents and those building families outside of traditional norms.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist who values authenticity, playfulness, and collaboration in the therapeutic process. Along with art therapy, I use integrative practices using EMDR, DBT, somatic therapy, and attachment theory. I aim to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are and a willingness to explore.
We will start with an introductory session where we'll begin by getting to know one another and creating a warm and comfortable space. In that first session, you will get the chance to tell me a bit about yourself along with any goals or ideas of how you might want to improve your life. From there, we will work together to try and achieve those goals.
