Waitlist for new clients
My passion as a therapist is supporting young adults in navigating their lives & mental health. I help with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, substance use, relationships, & life transitions. My specialties are complex trauma & working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I try to bring practicality & humor to my sessions while creating a safe & inviting space. I will also challenge you to go deeper. I want us to explore what has brought you to therapy instead of sticking to the surface. We will work together to empower you to understand patterns of behavior, let go of what no longer serves you, & cultivate your strengths.
For the last 5 years, I have worked in Residential Treatment, PHP/IOP, Collegiate Recovery, & Outpatient Clinics. Through that, I've learned that the foundation of healing is rooted within connection. Change can only happen if you feel seen, challenged, & comfortable in session. I strive to provide that in a way that fits each of my clients' specific needs
Whether you are conflicted about a relationship, adjusting to life changes, or working to heal from past pain, it can be difficult to know where to begin. I'd be happy to support you in moving forward. If you are interested in a free consultation for yourself or your child, please reach out to Allen Psychiatry at (469) 340-2777

Groups
PHP/IOP

PHP is for individuals who do not need to stay in the hospital but still require a highly structured outpatient program – often, acting as a bridge for those transitioning from inpatient care. IOP tends to be a best fit for those who do not need inpatient level of care but when symptoms require greater therapeutic support than what can be achieved in the individual outpatient counseling. PHP/IOP is structured psychotherapy in a small group format. Group settings are effective in developing self-awareness, emotional management, and social awareness.
