Accepting New Day Time and/or Telehealth Clients. If there is one thing I can guarantee will occur in this life it is change. Change is an ongoing journey that builds off of one’s core belief system and values. People tend to fear change due to this feeling of loss that is associated with it. My goal is to help you look at life change as a process rather than an end point. Do people have an endpoint or is continual evolution occurring throughout one’s lifetime? I would like to believe that people are ever growing- meaning change is constantly occurring.
I am committed to helping individuals navigate change and work through life’s daily struggles, including anxiety and depression. I will work to help you address interpersonal issues through the use of CBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I will work with clients to develop achievable goals, build coping skills, and develop self-acceptance.
I hold a doctoral degree in educational leadership in higher education. With this additional background, I am well equipped to work with college-aged students who are experiencing mental health issues. I am looking forward to getting to know each of you, hear your individual stories, and work with you to help you build positive change.
