We all need someone to talk to at times and a comfortable space to be ourself. As a LCSW, I enjoy providing a relaxed and laid back style at my practice, Maisie Counseling, LLC. I work with teens, young adults, and adults to help collaborate together to work through challenges and find solutions together. One of my aims is to build a compassionate and judgement-free environment for clients to open up and discuss emotions and experiences to accomplish goals.
I have experience in treatment of perinatal and postpartum mental health, grief and loss, trauma and healing, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. We will work together using a variety of skills identified to help each person individually. I like to build on strengths that patients already possess but may not see.
My style is relaxed, interactive and client centered. I have a strong sense of compassion and commitment to helping others and understand that, for some, beginning counseling may be a difficult decision.
