I want to start by understanding who you are and what you want in working with me. Sharing yourself with another can be a difficult, but rewarding process. My experience as a therapist developed working with the general and Special Needs populations in a school setting, couples in the throes of relationship distress, adolescents during transition periods of their lives, and older adults seeking comfort at the end of their days.
Therapy provides an opportunity to identify areas in your life that are asking for attention, love, and nurturing. Most of us have experienced trauma and/or pain in our lives, and it is too often that this pain prevents us from feeling happy and free. I am passionate about helping others find pathways to feeling healthier and happier.
The understanding of the issues that people experience through various stages and difficulties, and successfully helping many, has strengthened my belief that changes are possible.
