My name is Hayden Wygant and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Gainesville, Florida. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, stress, ADHD, depression, bipolar, PTSD, gender identity, sexual orientation, and trauma disorders. My focus is to help clients reach their greatest level of mental health awareness and help them use different skills to reinforce positive outcomes in their daily lives. I have experience working with all types of people, I have clients from all different backgrounds, races, cultures, and orientations.
My therapeutic approach is to use a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I believe that it is best to use different modalities of care to accommodate where the patient is currently. To help them navigate towards a better level of mental health awareness.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, personable, and positive. I like to use my extensive knowledge of different modalities of care to help patients, and I believe that building positive rapport with my patients is important for the patient to feel comfortable in sessions.
