About
My approach is highly collaborative with goals of improving insight and awareness of self-defeating patterns to allow for meaningful shifts in how clients relate to others, behave in the world and feel about themselves. I am passionate about healing attachment and relational issues and also specialize in treating eating disorders as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist. I work with anxiety, depression and difficulties in coping as well. I believe in integrative health and, when appropriate, encourage clients to create a team of collaborating professionals to assist them in reaching their personal and health goals.
Depending on client needs, I use several therapeutic modalities and work with adults, adolescents, families, couples, and groups. I offer a supportive environment for change through authentic warmth and compassion. I am also gently and respectfully challenging and direct.
I am licensed in both California and Hawaii. I am a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider and have been providing telehealth in my practice since 2017. I am happy to answer questions about my treatment philosophy and approach. Please contact me to learn more. www.hawleywinter.com
