Specialties include: Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex PTSD and domestic violence.
It takes a lot of time and energy to keep a life together. Even when things are great, there are constant social dynamics and work responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities that demand attention. When things aren’t great, life can be extremely scary and painful. During these hard times, thoughts may come up like, “right now it’s too hard to do it alone.” “Change and help are needed.” Not knowing how, or wanting to know, “why do I do what I do?” is a solid place to start.

Most people experience times in life when they don’t know how to cope or don’t know what to do about something they are struggling with. Some people struggle for years, either alone or in their relationships, before they are ready to talk with someone about things they want to change in their life. Some feel content in life except in one area, and they could use an unbiased third party to help them solve that last piece of their puzzle. Whatever your reason is, seeking help is not easy, and it is a brave move that speaks volumes of your readiness to better your life.

My ideal client feels misunderstood or stigmatized—whether they are justice-involved, trauma survivors, navigating dual diagnoses, or facing taboo topics. They seek a therapist who truly sees them, offering nonjudgmental support and cultural sensitivity. Many struggle with past trauma, systemic barriers, or internalized shame and want to heal, gain clarity, and reclaim their power. They seek a space where they can be honest, process difficult emotions, and develop the resilience needed to move forward with confidence and self-acceptance.

Our capacity to connect, both with ourselves (i.e. our passions, feelings, and body) and with others, is crucial to our feelings of well-being. When we connect, we generally feel a sense of aliveness in ourselves and the world. When we can't connect, we feel anxious, isolated, empty, or depressed. I feel my job is to help clients to more fully connect to the range of their experiences. I help adults, adolescents, and couples explore why they lose connection. I help them identify, understand, and overcome the deep root of their disconnection. I help them find well-being, which gives me great joy.

Every individual in society is different so that per their perspectives, they formulate their opinion and a set of behavior. Under the theory of individual perception, the science which sounds theoretically proven and reasonable comes to play its role, resulting in various consequences. However, I believe that the perception created under the societal and scientific rules is not equivalent to neither the human mind nor the psychiatric world of the individual because human beings have unlimited imagination. I am looking for expanding the dimension of variables regarding the scientifically proven therapeutic methods

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Therapists

What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.

How do therapists treat NPD?

By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.

Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?

Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.

How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?

It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
