Do you tend to put others first, feel like you're never good enough, and often feel lonely? Is it hard for you to figure out what your own feelings and needs are & asking for help or setting boundaries feels nearly impossible? Early adulthood in particular is often full of new experiences, big decisions, and exploring our identities. I have a niche for working with individuals in this stage of life, especially those also navigating anxiety, depression, caretaking responsibilities, or complex family systems on top of it all. I enjoy working with couples too, understanding that relationships impact mental health and vice versa.
I aim to help clients cultivate self-compassion and identify the strengths they hold, while also using DBT and CBT to help people manage symptoms and learn new concrete coping and communication skills for navigating life in a way that feels the most effective for them. I utilize attachment and strength-based lenses with both individual and couple clients.
I understand the challenge of using skills during difficult moments, and I enjoy partnering with people to provide guidance on listening to one's body and trying out new coping strategies. I am client-centered and will meet you where you're at, utilizing interventions that help you heal, grow, and embrace the version of yourself that feels most authentic.
