I do believe each person and family has unique resources to activate healing processes. Brief Therapy requires a highly collaborative approach between therapist and clients, and focuses on practical solutions and clear communication. Brief Therapy offers a maximum of 10 sessions but usually don't need that many to promote change in the problem that is presented. I work with individuals, couples and families with a variety of problems: marital conflict and affairs, depression and anxiety, children and adolescent problems, addiction, eating disorders, stress and work related problems. I also provide online-therapy services.
As a professor at graduate programs and a researcher in therapy field, I have found that each client has a theory of change! My research both in the US and internationally shows the most important mechanism of change in therapy is the client's motivation and engagement in therapy. That is, my goal is to help my clients to activate their own theory of change.
To set an appointment please email us and briefly write about the problem and your therapy goals, then provide the best number/email address that we can contact you. It will help us to provide a 20 minutes free consultation for you.
