Antwine D. Charles Sr is a retired veteran who served 24 years as a Navy Corpsman (medic) in the U.S. Navy. Serving in many countries and theatre’s, Antwine encountered many different cultures, in various war-torn, under-developed, and impoverished communities. Earning his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, his interest include other cultures, customs and traditions. His journey ignited his interest in multi-cultural counseling, community servanthood and an endeavor to bring Mental Healthcare to those who are in need of counseling services wherever he can.

My professional experience includes working with our military services members and their dependents working through deployments, suicide, multiple relocation's, marital issues, PTSD and other issues that military families face. I provide services for the following: Child/Adolescent - development, application, and evaluation of behavioral/cognitive-behavioral interventions for child/teen populations (e.g., under-served, children of divorce, juvenile victims of violent crimes, children with conduct and personality disorders, children with developmental disorders, and adolescents with chemical dependency and life challenges). Adults/Elderly - individual, couples and family psychotherapy (e.g., marital, parenting, aging, divorce issues, chemical dependency, mood disorders, depression and anxiety, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress, and LGBTQ).

I focus on working with adults using cognitive and psychoanalytic therapies. I also include a Christian faith-based focus in therapy if asked for.
