Sandhya Sharma is a South Asian Indian LPC and certified addictions specialist who works with: Adults, Teens, LGBTQ community, and International Communities. Sandhya will help create a safe and supportive therapy environment and work with you collaboratively to both accurately assess your strengths as well as areas of struggle. She will develop a treatment plan with you to help you facilitate behavioral changes that more successfully meet your goals. Sandhya will help you look at the ways you have been currently coping with life’s problems and help you to develop new strategies from a strengths-based perspective.

Throughout our therapy, together, you and I will look at the different aspects of your personality, how you were raised, and the messages you received from you parent(s), and how you functioned in the family system. In addition, both of us will work on counseling goals, which will govern the direction of your counseling process.

As a therapist, my passion is helping others meet their goals. I am a 20 year Army Veteran trained in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as Individual counseling techniques. I understand the unique stresses of military life. I have worked with military families both while in the Army and since. I use the Gottman Method for couples counseling. Gottman is considered the gold standard in Couples Counseling, it is one of the best researched therapies with one of the highest success rates.

Haley is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in marital and family relationship counseling and trauma therapy. Emotional pain and physical pain are processed in the same centers in the brain. This means emotional pain is real, tangible, and needs to be resolved or it will continue to impact how you feel and perceive the world. Trauma, negative belief symptoms, coping struggles, cumulative stress, substance abuse, relationship issues, family struggles, and past difficult memories can be addressed in therapy and there can be permanent healing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Throughout my career I have had experience in working with clients who have depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, dissociative identity disorder, schizoaffective disorder, gender/identity struggles, life adjustment stressors, grief, phobias, and PTSD/trauma. I am trained to treat clients with PTSD and trauma through Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM).

My approach is to empower clients through difficult times of their life, by teaching them the skills of self-compassion and vulnerability. I work with all individuals who feel overwhelmed by life and I am prepared to be there for them no matter what. I believe all people are deserving of unconditional support and compassion and I am prepared to give that unconditional support to all of my clients.
