I work with people who have a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, trauma histories, and schizophrenia, as well as with people who have substance abuse issues. These issues could be situational in nature, or they could be chronic conditions that have been troubling for some time.

In my experience, people come to therapy searching for help with some inhibition, perfectionism, self-esteem or emotion creating blocks in relationships, work and enjoying life. About Louisa Gould, LICSW: People seem to find me when they are supposed to in life. Clients who come to see me, often feel as though they need support with something in life. Mainly I find that most of us experience some sort of interruption in our lives. These interruptions can be addictions, losses, toxic relationships, difficult decisions, traumatic situations or can take many other shapes and forms throughout life. It is my belief that it is through these interruptions, that people often seek counseling and support. No one should have to travel through life alone.

I am a highly skilled and accomplished Therapist with a Master's degree in Addiction Counseling, a Master of Business Adminstration in Management and Certified Sex Addiction Therapy (CSAT). I have been an Inpatient Addiction Counselor with Gosnold Treatment Center in Falmouth, Massachusetts and a Mental Health Counselor with Boston Medical Center. I have conducted intakes and assessments, developed treatment plans and provided individual, group family, and adjunctive therapies. In addition, I have worked in an Emergency Room setting, providing interventions to physicians referred patients with substance abuse issues.

We all have the power to heal from hard times - even from trauma - it's within us, it's human. Sometimes we need another person to support us in our journey to move on from hard times. I believe growth and change are always possible outcomes. I provide thoughtful attention and gentle encouragement to support hope, healing, and most importantly, a relationship with yourself that is loving. My goal is to help you increase self-awareness, self-compassion, and self agency - skills that help you understand yourself and your unique value in the world.

Tandeka is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Taos, NM and Boston, MA. During her career, she has worked in psychiatric hospitals (outpatient/inpatient), community mental health clinics, and school based settings. She has extensive experience working with patients across the lifespan, with a wide variety of presenting concerns. Tandeka specializes in supporting patients in recovery from addiction, managing developmental complex trauma/grief, and those facing individual/community identity issues. She also has specialty practices with the following populations: adolescents, women in recovery, athletes, and couples.

Kate is a dually licensed LMHC and LADCI clinician with masters level advanced degrees in both Business and Counseling. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the College of the Holy Cross, Kate began a career in life coaching and fitness, and later expanded her work into the clinical realm. Currently, she offers professional psychotherapy, corporate consultation, health coaching & yoga therapy (complemented by her training in mind-body techniques, including: Ayurveda, Yoga, EMDR, Somatic Therapies, Integrated Health, Nutrition & Mindfulness). I have been in practice for the last 21 years. I see primarily adult individuals (that is persons 17 years or older). Trauma and PTSD represent the major focus of my practice. Trauma is a dysregulation of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Such dysregulation is represented by the diagnoses of PTSD, Acute Stress Disorder, Depression and Anxiety among other disorders.
