I believe we are all capable of changing our lives to feel happier more of the time. Perhaps you are struggling with a big transition, such as the death of a loved one, getting married or divorced, having a child, changing careers, or coming out. Or maybe you just feel stuck and you're not sure why. New clients often say that they are frustrated because they would like to feel happier but can't seem to figure out how. Therapy helps people break out of the rut and find new ways to achieve contentment.
I am a Clinical Psychologist experienced in addressing a variety of issues including anxiety, adjustment problems (e.g. changing careers, getting married/divorced, starting graduate school, having children etc.), perinatal issues, relationship/family issues, depression, issues with sex and sexual identity, gender questioning and exploration, and trauma.
While working at University of Pittsburgh Counseling Center, I developed a flexible and integrative approach that I tailor depending on the individual client's needs. I use Experiential and Psychodynamic models for therapy as well as Mindfulness exercises. For couples, I rely on my training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.

Harmony Sullivan's Groups

Interpersonal Process Group

Group therapy may seem scary, but previous group members have shared that being in a group was life changing and helped them feel connected and less alone. This time limited group will help members explore with each other the parts of ourselves that we often hide from the world. We'll explore the reasons we hide and how hiding has impacted our relationships and mental health. The group format allows group members to try out new ways of relating and opening up to others and get feedback on how we are experienced by others in a safe, confidential environment.
