I specialize in working with law enforcement officers, first responders, and emergency healthcare professionals who are carrying the weight of trauma, chronic stress, burnout, or the demands of high-pressure careers. Over time, that stress can show up as irritability, sleep problems, relationship strain, anxiety, emotional numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and the people you care about. My experience working alongside police officers as a crisis co-responder helped foster a deep appreciation for the culture of crisis professions where others depend on you.
My approach is practical, direct, and focused on real-world results. I use EMDR and evidence-based therapies to help clients process difficult experiences, reduce overwhelm, and reconnect with the parts of themselves that exist outside of the job. My goal is to provide a collaborative, grounded, and approachable space where you don't need to explain the job.
You don't need to have the right words to start. Many first responders and emergency healthcare professionals are used to pushing through stress alone because it can feel like few people truly understand what the job asks of you.
