EMDR Therapy for First Responders and Law Enforcement. I work with first responders, including law enforcement, who are navigating trauma, chronic stress, burnout, and high-pressure environments. Over time, that stress can show up as irritability, sleep issues, relationship strain, increased substance use, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. My background as a crisis co-responder alongside police officers and having a close family member in law enforcement allows me to understand the culture, stress, and expectations that come with the job. I offer EMDR therapy and exclusively serve law enforcement/first responders.
My approach is practical, direct, and focused on real-world results. I use EMDR and evidence-based therapies to help clients process difficult experiences, reduce overwhelm, and move forward with greater confidence. My goal is to provide a collaborative, grounded, and approachable space.
You don't need to have the right words to start. Many first responders are used to carrying stress quietly and pushing through it alone for a long time before reaching out.
