My style is conversational, direct, and investigative. I listen carefully both to what is said and for what is omitted, ask questions until we agree that I understand your perspective, and help guide you to long-term solutions. In addition to working privately as described above, I am a peer-reviewed research scientist specializing in addiction treatment. I am well acquainted with various approaches and modalities to help you or those you love deal with alcohol or chemical dependency, substance use disorder, problematic gambling, compulsive cell/Internet use, or sex/porn addiction.
