First off, air high five to you for allowing yourself to seek out support! And thank you for considering me to be a part of your journey. I am a lesbian therapist whose approach is authentic, accepting, empathetic, patient and humoristic. My main goal is for you to feel confident about who you are and your ability to navigate life's stressors. I will probably ask 879 questions along the way to better understand you and get an idea of the whole picture. However, I want you to feel empowered from the start to say, "OMG Hannah, stop asking so many questions!" Therapy is a collaborative process and your voice matters most.
I work with teens, young adults and adults on a range of topics including anxiety, depression, complex trauma, identity exploration, relationship issues and life transitions. I have experience working in community healthcare, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and schools.
Some things I love talking about if you don't want to dive right into what's bringing you to therapy: being a parent, animals (especially cats and dogs), sports, food (shoutout to donuts), running, plants/gardening, bad "dad" jokes, crafts/art, books, and podcasts.
