I see therapy as a collaborative relationship between counselor and client as we move toward your goals. As a counselor, my focus is on helping people effectively cope with anxiety, depression, and ADHD, as well as manage the impact of these challenges on other areas of life such as difficulties communicating and feeling connected within relationships or feeling overwhelmed while managing stress. I also assist those who have experienced loss in working through the grief process at their own pace. I aim to provide a space to help you process and accept the areas of life and the pieces of yourself that feel challenging to face.
I primarily use an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach focused on helping you build a life aligned with your values, the things that are most important to you, in order to become the most authentic version of yourself. I use a direct, mindfulness-based approach in order to promote presence in the here and now while creating lasting change.
I want you to feel safe and heard as you heal and transform through therapy.
