You might be used to holding everything together, but still feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected underneath. I work with adults whose past experiences continue to impact their ability to feel grounded, safe, or connected in the present. You may have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, or find yourself struggling with self-doubt, shame, or relationship difficulties without fully understanding why. My work is rooted in trauma therapy, where we explore how past experiences shape your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world—and begin to gently shift those patterns.
Together, we may use EMDR and other approaches to help you process what feels stuck, develop new emotional experiences, and move toward a greater sense of agency, connection, and self-worth. I offer EMDR therapy for clients in Wisconsin via telehealth, as well as in Iowa and New York.
Throughout my work, I’ve found that sitting with someone in darkness can make it feel less lonely. My role isn’t to make difficult experiences disappear, but to create a space where we can sit with what’s hard and begin to find a way forward—together.
