I believe that every negative or positive behavior is in place to meet a basic human need, and we need to understand the driving need behind those behaviors in order to change.
I have extensive experience with trauma in individuals from adolescence to late adulthood. I believe that trauma looks and feels different to every person; two people experiencing the exact same thing will have different responses. A traumatic event takes many forms, and I want to help you pick up where your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors come from.
One of my top priorities is to create a space where you feel safe to speak any thought or struggle. It is not an easy thing to come to therapy and speak to someone who is essentially a stranger and share the heavy feelings we all keep inside.
