I am a licensed clinical psychologist with training in providing evidence-based treatments for anxiety (social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and panic), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), tic disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs; hair pulling and skin picking). Additionally, I provide social skills training to adolescents and young adults in individual and group formats. I enjoy working with people across the developmental lifespan (childhood to adulthood) and have a special interest in working with the emerging adulthood population (adolescent to young adult).
I practice through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) lens with a strong emphasis on collaboration between client and therapist. I believe client involvement and feedback in treatment to be essential to meaningful and lasting change.
My aim is to provide a supportive, genuine, and present-focused environment for clients to build awareness, learn new skills, meet treatment goals and enhance overall well-being.

PEERS for Adolescents

This is a 14-week evidence-based social skills intervention for teens in middle and high school who are interested in learning new ways of making and keeping friends. During each session teens are taught social skills, given the opportunity to practice these skills, and provided immediate feedback. Parents are taught how to expand their teen’s social network and provide feedback through social coaching. PEERS® may be appropriate for teens with ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism or other social and behavioral disorders. The group is led by certified PEERS® provider. Please call for more information.
