I am passionate about collaborating with others in their healing journeys. As a Board Certified Art Therapist I utilize a holistic, mindfulness based, client-centered approach to work with children, adolescents, and adults to heal from anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, and loss. I specialize in early-childhood mental health (birth-8yrs) as well as perinatal/postpartum mental health. I work in partnership with caregivers and young children to focus on integrating and healing early trauma, attachment disruptions, and building secure relationships between caregiver and child.
My treatment is aimed at partnering with individuals and families to heal generational trauma, expand self-compassion, and uncover a wise connection to their sense of self with curiosity, acceptance, and humility. I value the inherent wisdom in each of us and believe that art and play are the natural languages of healing.
I work with those who have experienced overwhelm to restore nervous system regulation, organize preverbal/nonverbal aspects of development, move through and befriend emotions, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and connect with social supports to move toward a renewed sense of empowerment and hope.
