At the very least, I want you to leave our sessions feeling valued, accepted, and heard. To me, it is of the utmost importance to build genuine and trusting relationships with clients. This creates the foundation for healing. Together we will unpack what is getting in the way of you functioning at your best and determine a path forward. I will help you to connect with your feelings, build upon your strengths, reconstruct limiting beliefs, and determine which coping strategies make sense for you. Through our work together, you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself and learn to honor your most authentic you.
Prior to joining private practice in 2020, my clinical experience consisted of collegial counseling, residential treatment for at-risk youth, with children/families in foster care, and with adults in long-term care. I currently help clients 6+ work through anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, adjustments, relationships, self-esteem, and perinatal mood issues.
Things that light me up most are being with loved ones, snuggling my dog and two cats, thrifting, leisurely kayaking, walks in the metro parks, binging a good show, and live music.
