About
Feeling overwhelmed, worried, or panicked all the time is exhausting. My goal is to provide a warm environment where clients feel heard, valued, and comfortable collaborating to identify and process challenges. I encourage people to consider, and even appreciate, that most of our difficult behaviors helped us to survive at some point, which can be a profound shift in perspective. To create meaningful change, I help clients to notice patterns that are no longer useful and to create and maintain healthier ones. Sessions with me often include a combination of deep listening, highlighting your strengths, skill-building, and humor.
While I tailor treatment to each individual, I often use components from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems, all of which provide tools to cope with and accept discomfort, increase self-compassion, improve relationships, and build a healthier and happier life.
Please reach out with any questions or to set up a free, 15-minute phone consultation. I recommend checking out my website to learn more about me and my approach: www.hannahlarter.com.
