I offer compassionate, strengths-based counseling for adults and adolescents in need of support navigating the complexities of chronic pain, chronic illness, and neurodivergence. Together, we can explore effective coping mechanisms and cultivate a stronger sense of self-compassion. You don't need to change yourself to fit into a neurotypical and ableist world. My style is non-judgmental, creative, and genuine, guided by person-centered and existential theory. I use a collaborative approach, tailored to your individual needs. I draw from an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities, including ACT, EMDR, and Somatic Therapy. My approach emphasizes self-compassion and embracing your authenticity.
I identify as disabled and neurodivergent, and my own experiences with chronic pain led me to pursue a career dedicated to alleviating its impact on mental health. Living with chronic pain or a chronic illness can feel hopeless at times, and one of my goals as a counselor is to help my clients develop hope for a better tomorrow.

Groups
Chronic Pain & Chronic Illness Support Group
This support group is a bi-weekly space to gather in community with others impacted by chronic pain and/or chronic illness to share experiences, learn coping and self-advocacy skills, and connect to resources. The group is open to adults residing in Washington state living with chronic pain or chronic illness (a diagnosis is not required). The group will be led by Hannah King, LMHCA, CRC, a therapist with lived experience with chronic pain and a passion for disability justice. We will discuss topics such as internalized ableism, self-compassion, disability accommodations, medical self-advocacy, and accepting limitations.
